Hello,

Our goals here at fi.flossmanuals.net are:

- Localize the site
- Translate most of the manuals
- Build a network of readers/writers/volunteers/users
- Collaborate with various organizations interested in free documentation
- Arrange workshops (especially on media software)
- Participate in various events where open source documentation is needed
- Write a couple of new manuals

Now I would like to hear about your experiences with the various
localizations and so on.

- How long did it take to get the various localizations up and running?
- How did you get readers to come to your site?
- What kind of events did you participate in to find readers?
- What kind of trouble did you have? Is there something we should be scared
of?
- Did you modify the manuals for local needs when translating them?
- Does anybody have nice networking ideas we haven't heard of yet?
- Any advice for a new localization of FLOSS Manuals?

It would be interesting to find out what kind of documentation our local
FLOSS users would be needing right now and to arrange a Book Sprint based on
that. ;)

Best Regards
Tomi Toivio
