Regarding Intro to the Command Line: on the one hand, the best way to learn is to practice with the command-line, not do exercises. But a lot of people do things inefficiently, running lots of commands when a quick customization could save a lot of time. I think exercises (workbook) could be really useful, if it poses challenges, like "How do you do this in just one command?"
