Our booksprint plans for this year here in Finland include:

- Scribus
- Citizen Media Production (media production with open source video editors,
more process-based than a software manual)

I salute you. I think that the OpenShot video project is very promising and
I'm really happy that you are considering writing docs on it. I'll happily
try to contribute.

I'm also really happy that you are going to create a process driven manual
as well. I hope that the docs on Archive.org and Wordpress may help for a
self publishing toolkit.

On a similar note, ie a process driven manual. I would be really up for a
sprint on creating a multimedia aggregator / community website with Drupal.
It's a great tool for doing this, commercial books get written but are out
of date quite soon. There's a great site here that does the job.

Yahoo is doing this kind of think with my yahoo - but this is a good
opensource way of doing it.

I stop my full time job at the media centre in 3 weeks, so I'd be up on
collaborating on creating something like this. We had a go over a weekend
last year and got this far

Which is a good start, I think. But is now out of date (of course  - a lot
changes in 1 year in Drupal!) - I think thinks will level out for Drupal 7
in this area. So maybe by the summer things will be stable enough in 7 to do
some good docs that'll definately be well used.
