I've noticed that people are just using the pattern: [Original name in English] [Name of the new language in English] e.g.: PURE DATA -> PURE DATA Portuguese instead of: PURE DATA -> PURE DATA Portugu?s do you have any suggestion or rules follow?! thanks in advance. = ) dj -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Welcome dj! A great to project to translate this manual. No rules on the names or URL patterns. I would go with what you are happiest with. Let me know and I can rename this for you. But one thing... I've had a look at your manual on the new write site. http://write.flossmanuals.net/pure-data-portuguese It looks like you are starting this from zero. To make it easier you can clone the English manual and in that way all the images and structure is in place. Do you want me to tell how to do that? nice one mick -- Mick Chesterman - @mickfuzz [twitter / skype] mick at flossmanuals.net http://flossmanuals.net - Free Manuals for Free Software From mick at flossmanuals.net Sun Aug 30 07:08:03 2015 From: mick at flossmanuals.net (Mick Chesterman) Date: Sun, 30 Aug 2015 15:08:03 +0100 Subject: [FM Discuss] New URL for writing manuals. http://write.flossmanuals.net In-Reply-To: <55E3095E.6010101@flossmanuals.net> References: <55E3095E.6010101@flossmanuals.net> Message-ID: <55E30E43.3050807@flossmanuals.net> Hi there, Just a quick one. One thing to know, when translating the chapter titles, double click the the title text, alter the text and press save. Section titles can't be edited, just create new ones. To delete old ones drag them into the area at the bottom of the page. nice one Mick -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I had some problems because some chapters were sharing the name "INTRODUCTION", but I just deleted these chapters and imported them again with another name. Everything is fine now.
