as far as i know lulu terms of service and the gpl are compatible.
infact when you assign a license to the book using the lulu engine you
can actually select the GPL as one of the licenses for publishing the
content under (which is what I have done)...you can see the license
stated if you scroll down the page it says:

Copyright: © 2007 the contributers GNU General Public License


i can;t see how else the lulu terms would effect the content, I asked
who the publisher is when a book is published and the answer was
"you"...in other words, as far as i can tell lulu has nothing to do with
the content, they simply print and ship
