[FM Discuss] avidemux

wow. nice one! never even heard of this software - looks really  
deep.  runs almost perfect on my mac as far as I could tell in  
10mins.  I was able to trasncode an flv to an mpeg1 on my first try.

Im running the QT4 version on a 2.16 MacBook Pro, OSX10.4.10, QTPRO 7.3

the only problems I saw quickly was that the character encoding is  
jacked up on the filter menus so many of them are unreadable.  But  
like I said I haven't really worked too much with it.  I will though  
and after my semester is over on the second week of december I'd be  
glad to help out a little on this one and figure it out a little  
more.  I can ween myself off of some of the other transcoders I use...
