[FM Discuss] the party + board info

hey all,

Just dropping a line to say the party went really well. We had somewhere
around 80 people at a guess.

I did a quick 15 minute presentation and then we toasted FLOSS Manuals
and gave a cheer. So that means we are officially launched! 

So congrats to everyone!

I'll put some photos of the party online asap.

I also, wanted to say very briefly that the Advisory Board is almost in
place. I am waiting for one more reply. I will send a introduction bio
about each advisory board member and introduce them to the list.

The Advisory Board looks like this so far:
Andy Oram (OReilly Media)
Shunling Chen (Harvard)
Dr. Matthew Fuller (Goldsmiths)
Stephanie Hackney (Tactical Tech)
Peter Thoeny (TWiki)

So, this is public info now but I will introduce the board to the list
after I have the final yes or no from 1 more person I have invited.

I have to say, its a pretty amazing bunch of people. I aimed high and
everyone except for one (Mark Shuttleworth) said yes. 

So...plenty to celebrate :)
