I just finished listening to the interview Adam did for the

Nice overview of FLOSS Manuals' history, way of doing things, and current plans.

BTW, on TECHWR-L (Tech WRiter List, pronounced "tek-whirl"), someone
recently asked "What do I do if all my writing samples are
proprietary?" The first two responses were suggestions to work on open
source projects, including from one person who saw Adam talk at
DocTrain. I also helped bang that drum, but it's nice not to be the
only one doing so anymore. The OP actually responded "Is this what
everyone does, write for open source software?" Sadly, the answer is
still no.
