A doddle. Do we get to add anything? Something with script-fu, for example?

Remotely, I'll give it a try.

What then? These are just some that I have run afoul of either in
personal use or on tech writing contracts.
o MS Office/Open Office--docs, spreadsheets, presentations, database, macros...
o Illustrator/Inkscape
o Visio/Dia
o Framemaker/Scribus
o Autocad/QCaD
o Windows programming/Linux/Gnome/KDE/Sugar programming?
o C++/Smalltalk? ("I invented OOP, and C++ was not what I had in
mind."--Alan Kay)
o Homepage/Quanta Plus
o IIS/Apache
o Flash/Gnash
How about Circumvention 2.0: Software Patents, DRM, and Proprietary
File Formats? It would be _so_ much fun writing the chapters on
incompetent use of cryptographic algorithms and on trying to keeping
reality secret from its users. *<%-] And explaining the costs of
proprietary software to all of us.
