[FM Discuss] "Liberating Voices" published by MIT Press

No direct personal experience, no. The LV book was announced on the
members mailing list for CPSR (http://cpsr.org/), which sponsors the
project. My involvement in CPSR consists of sending them money, and
wishing there was a local chapter, because I would be more likely to
become involved if there were. A lot of their work seems rather
academic, but they also seem to be having some impact in areas like
Internet governance and voting technology.
