I have put up a new version of the Blender manual for discussion:

in the process learned a few kooky facts about embeddable fonts and
Scribus on Ubuntu (which might make it to the scribus manual).

If anyone sees crunchy fonts please let me know, preferably with a
screen shot. thanks! Any comments on the layout and how to improve it
also welcomed.

I also tried another approach to the credits. Interested again in
thoughts about this...
