A great person for managing the logistics of sprints would be Joshua from
the FSF (CC'd here).  He's ran similar events for the FSF and his own sites
including textbookrevolution.org, etc.  If you're comfortable holding the
event at OLPC's office, I bet that this could be arranged over a weekend, or
if not, Josh would be a good person to help find space.

I have been talking with Kim and Michael at OLPC this past week about a
first-boot getting-started guide.  It sounds like at the very least some
content will be included in the 8.1.2 release.  The 8.2.0 release of Sugar,
which *should* be packaged for the upcoming G1G1 mark 2, will have a first
boot activity that will display the best getting started guide that exists
at that time.  The 8.2.0 content will of course have to be updated for the
new UI changes, etc.

I would be happy to help organize things at 1cc and try to wrangle funds for
food if people would like to hold the event there.
