I think you should use whatever work flow makes sense. It does seem to
me that having an optional tracker 'within' FM for each manual could be
handy but trac within a already established dev environment (eg. the
sugar dev trac) also makes some sense. What suits will differ from
manual to manual, so perhaps I will start thinking about this and
talking to people about the needs for different manuals. If it makes
sense to have an internal trac/manual planner we could start some
development on it in August.

ok...I think we should start considering the following :
* who we can get to sponsor or fund this  
* Ideally we should invite a group of 5-6 core people. Anne and David
are obvious starters, and if I may suggest myself for co-ordinating the
sprint on site then I would be very happy to attend. Can we compile of
who should be invited? From this we can get an idea of a budget and
where to have it.
