hi,

So we are experimenting with a few things including a widget to embed a
FLOSS Manuals bookstore on your site (blog/facebook/website etc). We
have access to some neat tools, including widgets in flash and
javascript, and widgets for facebook and myspace.

I was wondering if there is anyone that could try the following :

<div
style="background:url('http://www.lulu.com/images/widgets/bg_glass.jpg?20081001144434') no-repeat bottom; background-position: 11px 321px; width: 425px; padding-bottom: 30px;text-align: center;">
<object width="425" height="350" ><param name="src"
value="http://www.lulu.com/author/widgets/msf/ministorefront.swf?theme=7&showThumbnail=true&showDescription=true&showTitle=true&widgetName=FLOSS+Manuals%27s+Storefront&luluID=2724217〈=en_US&buy=no&version=20081001144434" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent"> <embed src="http://www.lulu.com/author/widgets/msf/ministorefront.swf?theme=7&showThumbnail=true&showDescription=true&showTitle=true&widgetName=FLOSS+Manuals%27s+Storefront&luluID=2724217〈=en_US&buy=no&version=20081001144434" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350" wmode="transparent" ></embed></object>
<a href="http://stores.lulu.com/flossmanuals" style="color:blue;
font-size:11pt; position: relative; display: block; margin-top:
-9px;">Visit my storefront to learn more >></a>

or this :
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://stores.lulu.com/feed.php?fStore=flossmanuals&fFormat=js"></script>

and let us know how it looks on your site (its for testing only at this
point)

these are not our tools, if they were we wouldnt build them with FLASH,
but I would be interested in peoples thoughts on :
* the look and feel
* whether they would help us support FM by hosting a book store widget
on their site
* whether using another services FLASH (partly open file format) is ok
for FM stores
