Thanks jay for this suggestion. I would love ot be in touch with some
book makers.

As for the book making itself. Adam Thomas, a friend from Berlin, and I
have made some nice books with a bound spine. Its a very simple method
but can look very nice if done well. The thing is, it brings the cost of
the book to produce under what Lulu can produce them for. So I am
thinking if people like the idea, and like the product, we could still
sell the lulu books but sell the hand made books at a slightly higher
price. 

If we document the process it also means that we can have local
production of the books as well. Instead of ordering x books from lulu
to take to a festival or event, for example anyone could just make the
books locally for cheaper, and sell them or give them away.

I will put some pictures up online when i have some good photos of what
we have tried so far.

any thoughts on this?
