Wow, cool. FLOSS Manuals keeps getting lower tech :-)
You could sign those hand-made books and charge a bigger premium.
Speaking of local production, any movement on the newsprint idea? Seth
Godin is predicting that there will be no significant newspapers
printed on paper by 2012:

I haven't heard anybody talking about what's happening to all those
presses. Are they just getting scrapped? May need to move fast before
they disappear.
