These are really interesting insights, Chris, and I'd like to pick up the idea of a "blockbuster book." Unfortunately, I think we touch many different communities that see different topics as potential blockbusters. For a politically alert community, the book about bypassing censorship could be a historical milestone. On the other hand, many people in developing regions (but perhaps not people who can afford to give a lot of money) are impressed that FM does OLPC and Sugar manuals.
