The three key words for non-profit funding are: Mission, vision, values.

Does your mission match the funding organization's mission? How will
funding your proposal help them accomplish their mission better than
funding someone else's proposal.

Does your vision match the funding organization's vision? How will
funding your proposal make help the funding organization archive their
vision for how the world should look?

Do your values match those of the donor organization?

While these all seem 'touchy feeling' which they are. Some
foundation's mission is to create positive press for the donor. Some
foundations values are to disrupt the spread of a competitors
products.

Find the organizations who's mission vision and values align with FM's
and start making connections.
