Hi all

Some of us are at the lacket in rural wiltshire, a lovely cottage in the
middle of no where.

We've got a plan for the kind of Documentation we want to create for Drupal
and specifcally video sharing in Drupal.

Now we need to work out how much we can do this weekend and how much over
the coming months.

We need to create 3 type of documentation
a) for developers
b) for admins of our drupal site
c) for end users

We are planning on putting these in three places.

a) Drupal.org
b) Floss manuas
c) as generic help on the website and input forms of the site.

Ideally we should use this weekend to create a good frame of what we want to
achieve as well as some short term outcomes.

And we are looking at the following areas

Mapping existing documentation in the area of Video sharing

Aggregation: Feedmapper api - and Element Mapper

Transcoding: Media Mover
A short guide to media mover for a video sharing site
A group to look at reattaching content to drupal nodes after being used in
Media mover
FTPing in Media mover

Embedded Media Field: (CCK)
Creating a Provider for our own sites to use the flash elements of Embedded
Media Field.

Document the use of SWF tools for a video sharing site and JW player

Create a User interface focus group to look at ifiwatch.net and
chalktalk.info to see how the text and usablility can be improved - feed
these ideas back to the techs to work out the vialblity of the ideas
