[FM Discuss] Ardour FLOSS Manual: call for GIMP wizard (no wizard needed)

Hi: If i encounter a web page with some bizarre color scheme like colored letters on black or purple background at least two browsers have a way to change it so there is a more printworthy display that won't turn out paper soaked in black or colored ink.

On Firefox: Go to top-menu View > Style > "no style"/"basic page style" (the default). Click on "no style". You will find all the coloring gone and standard black text on white background. Images will remain. There is some element-order change but images will remain.

On Opera: On the bar just above the main page you will find a button titled (by default) "author mode". If you click on it you will get "user mode". Page formatting disappears and you get a flat display. This may reveal information and links that are hidden in the "author mode"

On Safari: I couldn't find any equivalent choices.

I must confess at this point that i have not tried it on the Ardour manual. However it is just a suggestion. It might be a useful alternative to completely reformatting the Manual.

Regards: David
