hi,

just fyi. since posting we had our 1000th reg a month or so ago there
has been almost another 100 registrations, seems we are picking up
speed. edits are also getting much more - i get about 40-50 edit
notifications on many days (an edit notification is sent every 15 mins
if there has been one or more edits in that 1/4 hr, sometimes edit
notifications have as many as 20 edits listed).

we also had (2 days ago) our first content spam. some [insert expletive]
posted a promotional chapter for their own book on an entirely different
topic in one of the manuals. this is one of the reasons we have a static
(/read) version of a manual and a dynamic (/write) version..maintainers
i think will become increasingly important to catch this kind of stuff
as we get bigger...
