[FM Discuss] to-do lists

I was just working tonight on the Inkscape manual for a bit, going
through chapters and determining what work needs to be done.

I think a very important feature for Booki (or whatever the heck we're
calling it) is a robust and dynamic to-do system.

Ideally, the user would have a private set of lists (nameable and
attachable to a particular project, book or chapter) which nobody else
would have access to.

There would also be a to-do list for each chapter, book and project.
Within these lists (but not he private lists) there would be "items"
with potentially a set of dates (start, finish, done, etc), an author
(whoever made the item), an assignee (or multiple), and some way to say
it's finished (maybe even have a status, like "assigned", "in progress"
and "completed").

I'm sure there are other things that would be useful here. It shouldn't
be too complicated, of course, so as to hinder work, but should help to
organise a project as much as possible. So there should be
notifications, etc, built in.

Thoughts?
