Hey all,
I just wanted to firstly give a general *pat on the back* to the FM
team.
Been following the goings on and everyone is doing really well lately.
The Digital Foundations book looks great, wish it was around 10 years
ago...
Reminded me of this competition I saw Adobe running: http://adaaentry.com/prizes.php
The fine print reads:
" you need to prepare digital files of work created primarily (over
50%) with Adobe tools "
This is quite an amusing FAQ from the site:
21. I used non-Adobe web design software for my entry in the Browser-
Based Design category, but I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
software for my images. Is this OK?
No. This is not an effective use of Adobe software for this contest.
Your website should be created with Adobe Dreamweaver® or Adobe Flash
with auxiliary use of Photoshop and Illustrator to qualify as an entry
in this category.
Looks like coding things by hand won't cut it!
Here's for more EFFECTIVE uses of Adobe tools!
Keep up the good work.
