It would be nice to do such. A bit of egg on the face...

But, it would be much nicer to have a competition that requires 100%  
use of free software :)
Maybe the prize bag can not be as big, but never discount the fame/ 
recognition factor.
Especially if you give it a big name like the 'International Free  
Software Design Achievement Awards'.
Students need some encouragement to at least try these tools out.

Also, isn't it ridiculous to imagine these Adobe people checking  
watermarks and source code to see if it smells like Adobe?!
It says last year there were 2775 submissions. Maybe they made some  
sort of bot to return a percentage of Adobe usage?
To bad for those sitting on 49%...
