Thanks, Julian. The incoming submissions were really good (all the ones I looked at) and I don't know whether they took their cue from earlier submissions or just had the right feel on their own.

wow.. i've just flipped through it and think it's a really great manual. i
especially like the 'tone' and flow of use cases within the cumulative learning
curve.
it's quite a step up from the gnu.org manual
<http://www.gnu.org/software/bash/manual/bashref.html> and has a lot in there
that the TLP advanced scripting guide could learn from.
