[FM Discuss] Quick impressions following CiviCRM book sprint

Would love to add a section, but I need to balance it with all the other work that has backed up (and I'm taking off a few days at the end of the week). Sometime in May I'll write it up.

Let's not forget that someone sent in requested questions for our FAQ. Has anybody handled them. I found them to be too good--they were hard to answer.

Andy

hey,
Andy it would be great if you could add a section about your experiences
and thoughts to the manual on Book Sprints :

I put a lot of detail into it for an important reason: I knew that any sections would depend on material from other sections and I wanted each author to feel confident that another section gave some background. For instance, the "for" statement refers to a variable, so the person writing it up has to know whether variables were described earlier or whether he has to take time to describe variables as well as the "for" statement. It turned out that we had some redundancy in the book, but it would have been worse without a detailed outline.
