[FM Discuss] Standard set of Writing Conventions

I just created a generic set of Writing Guidelines at http://en.flossmanuals.net/bin/view/BookSprints/WebHome. (This is just so classic. I promised to edit the Book Sprints book, and haven't even gotten to the first chapter yet.) I took most of the conventions from similar work I had done for the CiviCRM book, incorporating some older conventions written by other people.

I suggest that people interested in this sort of fussy stuff look at the Book Sprint Writing Conventions and make relevant changes. We could somehow create a fundamental set of Writing Conventions we use to start each book. Technical books should also have standard conventions for keycaps, filenames, etc.
