Hi,

One point I'd like to mention with the discussion around a group wanting
to tightly restrict access to a manual, is to fork it and watch the
growth of content on the two products.  If all goes well the 'open' fork
could be used as promotional material to change the minds of those that
want more restricted access to manual editing.
