I've done a bit of work on the mediawiki floss manual
http://en.flossmanuals.net/bin/view/Wikipedia/WebHome
about installation.

It would be great if someone else that has installed mediawiki could
walk through it and edit as needed.

There were some parts that really threw me - I guess there should be a
"web/email server installation" manual or something - things like
setting up a MySQL database, which I've included, but may need to be
moved to another manual. Also, I was trying to make the main
Installation page a little shorter, but I found it hard to separate a
lot of the data.
