Well they appear to hold your file, distribute a database of books and
take the transactions. They then go out to all the seperate vendor
networks iBookstore, Kindle, Nook etc etc

Thanks for the tip Ill drop them a line.
Our research only started last week, we'll get it resolved over the next
couple of weeks and report back with findings and recomendations.
We've also been doing a bunch of research into OpenArching, like how the
hell to use WikiMedia's wide suite of tools. If we can get the material
into a sensible form we'll get a spint on and get it into Booki,
'WikiMedia and OpenArchiving How To'.
