Hello all,

I'm inquiring to learn more about options for exporting sections of a FLOSS
manual to a more editable format outside of PDF.

Seeing an OpenOffice option in the new Booki interface along with Adam's
response to a separate question on our Mifos mailing list about the
availability of that functionality piqued my interest.

My query:

Adam's response:
openoffice is disabled for now as it costs too much cpu. i will disable
that option in the interface

Our use case is that we have organizations that need to create more
customized versions of our general user manual that is unique to their
organization. This requires the ability to edit within certain sections
(i.e. change screenshots, specify new scenarios, change terms to their
specific vocabulary, etc.)

Is there an easy way to get export a manual to editable interface like Word
or OpenOffice.

Right now, I take it the best option for an organization wanting to
"customize" a Mifos User Manual would be to "Remix" it in the following
manner.

Select sections to remix, export to HTML and then 1) either edit the HTML
file directly or 2) open HTML file in word and edit subsequently in Word.

Thanks in advance just seeing if there's an easier way to create and edit
unique instances of our user manual so an end user doesn't have to mess
around with HTMl, etc.

Thanks,
