i dont know if i understand the difference between platform and service?
im sorry, im not trying to be dumb...you mean can it be downloaded and
installed? if so then the answer is yes...it has been like this for some
time although we have (ironically) no install docs but we dont actually
expect anyone to try and install it yet since its still very alpha....

yeah sorry. i realised that too late. problem is that (a) i forget not
everyone has been involved to the same degree as i have with fm and
booki etc so i tend to assume a common shared experience sometimes which
isnt shared, and (b) sometimes i dont have the picture down clear until
it gets written in an email and sent to aco or doug or this list...
