[FM Discuss] questions about place

Hi all -
I've read the thread and pondered where I have placed links to
Flossmanuals.net over the last couple of years, and I nearly always refer to
fm.net in the context of either "here's where we authored" or "here's where
you can find out more about FLOSS Manuals books and community." So I think
it's fine to turn FLOSSManuals.net into an "about" site and a reader's site.

Some of what I'm wondering is "what happens to FLOSS Manuals the site." I'm
thinking of people I've directed to the site. Tomi, is this similar to your
current use of the FI site?

writers (of any language) come to en.FLOSSManuals.net or
fi.FLOSSManuals.net(and so on) to:
- become a part of the FM writing community by clicking through to the FM
group on Booki
- join the discuss mailing list
- read the blog about activities around Booki and FLOSS Manuals?

readers want:
- to download or purchase books created by the FLOSS Manuals community

collaborative authoring implementers want:
- links to Booki, such as download
- where do they get instructions?

book sprint coordinators:
- read about how to run a sprint (are any books migrating into Booki?)
- and also join the discuss mailing list to contact other sprinters

Sorry, I don't have any problem with the direction at all, so I'm not sure
what my contribution really lends to the discussion. I do want to preserve
the FlossManuals.net domain, content, and community while giving Booki the
opportunity to shine and be highlighted on FlossManuals.net. Your thoughts?
Anne
