[FM Discuss] Book cover design by the RDC

Adam,
I'd like both of my books in the FM book shop. The first one can't go
yet because of OBJAVI issues that I've reported to the bug tracker,
and the second book is still a work in progress. Anne Gentle made a
book cover for "Make Your Own Sugar Activities!" which is consistent
with the other covers. The cover Oceana Rain Fields does will be used
for a printing by the RDC, so it doesn't need to look the same as
other FM books, but I'm hopeful that when it is time to do a cover for
the FM book shop we can use some of her work, as Rebecca has
suggested.
The "iconic" look is OK for a technical manual, and that is what
"Reading and Leading" is, but I'm trying to sell non-techies on
learning the stuff too. An unconventional cover might sell the book
to teachers and others.
In addition to the cover Oceana might do some interior illustrations
too. This could be a really different looking FLOSS Manual when it's
done.
