Hi folks,
Now that the CiviCRM book is out there, just wanted to say that I'd be
really up for going to Wikimania and having an FM get together out there and
wanted to know if other people are also up for it.
I'm sure it would be useful / productive / social / fun to meet maintainers
from other manuals and Wikimania seems like a natural place to do it.
The CiviCRM community often piggy backs on Drupal events because they are
similar / are a nice recruiting ground and it seems like Wikimedia would be
FM's natural host organism ;)
I know that we've missed the official deadline but I would have thought that
there will be space for self organised sessions or similar in the
conference, and if not, we could always make space. (I can't see any
mention of it in http://wikimania2010.wikimedia.org/wiki/CFP)
Do people think this is a good idea? have the time and inclination to go
along?
