[FM Discuss] Will booki.cc be cleared out?

I was wondering if the main booki.cc would be cleared out soon.  The
reason I ask is that I have an idea for a Booki project that I'd like
to try out.  After helping (to some extent) the people who are
translating "Make Your Own Sugar Activities!" into Spanish, I got an
idea for another translation project that I'm not qualified to do.
For MYOSA I used Babel Fish to translate individual chapters into bad
Spanish, then got native speakers to fix it up as good Spanish.  It
occurs to me that I might do something similar going the other
direction.

I recently ran across a movie based on the novel _Le Château des
Carpathes_ by Jules Verne, which is in the public domain in French but
has no public domain English translation.  Project Gutenberg has it in
French, and Google Translate is able to render it in bad English.  I'd
like to put this into Booki and attempt to fix up the English.  I have
*some* knowledge of French, and my English is tolerable.  I ought to
be able to make a good start on it and maybe get some French speakers
to help out.  The result would get released under a very liberal CC
license and donated to the Internet Archive, and possibly PG as well.

I would not want to do this only to have it cleared out of Booki.cc.
However, there's a lot of stuff in Booki.cc that probably *should* be
cleared out.
