i think there will be three laptops...maybe i could make a booki
kiosk...not sure if i have time but it would be easy...maybe someone
wants to make the web interface for it? it would only need to be a
dynamically generated list of books which link to objavi to gen the
epubs...then people can download to usb drives onsite or (via a wireless
network) direct to their ipad/android etc...ah man...this could work, if
only i had more time.... i think doug has a call in objavi that will
list all the books...if we had that i can put it on an old laptop of
mine, perhaps build a small plinth and have it as the 'fm ebook kiosk' -
a bit of paint and it would look better than the shuttleworth ubuntu
burner thingy ;)
so, actually I am still chasing 2k (euro) - if anyone has ideas. I have
gone to the bank for a loan to cover it, but if we can squeeze 2
thousand from somewhere that would be excellento.
