[FM Discuss] fm conf?

hi,

I have been pondering for some time organising a FM conference here in 
Berlin. Something like a three day event aimed at discussing all things 
related to free documentation of free software (not just Fm focused).

This week I found a nice venue for about 40 people. It has good 
accommodation and nice surroundings. The daunting thing about doing 
something like this is funding - I was wondering if we can do it without 
funding? Everyone would need to cover their own costs...we could do a 
pledgie thing as has been successful for the LGM to help some make 
it...the costs of the accommodation is 30 euro a night. We could buy our 
own food and make cooking teams - I am sure FM could cover the food costs.

but anyways...assuming we did it in berlin in say, August, would there 
be much interest in this? Anyone want to come? Anyone want to help 
organise it?
