Wow... what an awesome place for a great event, wish I could be there!
I'll stay in touch online.
I'm writing a proposal to TLRI (http://www.tlri.org.nz/) to get funding for Douglas to help with the FM newspaper.

ok,...three quick and positive replies is enough to get this on the road :)

I was thinking of booking this place:
http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/p531786

I go there for a sprint next week so I will check it out. Does someone
want to look at the calendar on that page and suggest some dates? We
want 3 full days. So that means arriving at night, meeting for 3 days,
and then leaving late on the last day.

that means booking 4 days with them.

We can move this around - July is very difficult for me but august,
september and maybe even June is ok...anyone want to start the ball
rolling with a date suggestion?

Also I will need help with raising the funds so we can ask some to come
that cannot afford the travel. Anyone have any experience with pledgie
or similar? I think it would be good if someone can just take charge of
that and make it happen.

As for the rest I think we keep it simple. I will organise food and we
cook in teams. When we get closer I will organise the logistics to get
everyone out there...
