What strike me when reading this manual (as with the pd manual) is that it
is an amazing way to learn about Sound and Digital sound. There's a real
contrast with the way that using out of the box solutions like those from
Adobe which do a lot to hide how things work in the name of usability.
However whereas a lot of people express this, it's great to see such good
work to help people break it down. It makes me want to just take time off
and learn about this stuff.
I was so happy to see a guy in manchester take advantage of the local free
computer access point in manchester to do PD workshops to a really wide
variety of people and see them love learning for the sake of knowledge.
I'm interested in how the exercises which help reinforce learning can be
integrated in our manuals - and would love to check out different examples.
I know that there was a suggestion of a separate manuals for exercises but
to me that seems a shame.
