Note the extended date, now till 5th September, after all there's no real
rush and I'm going to be offline for a week from Thursday.

I'm going to try and involve more people locally by going and bothering
local groups in Manchester, UK. Manchester Free Software group and
Manchester Wordpress Users group tonight and tomorrow.

Hopefully they'll help out. But do spread the word, then hopefully I won't
have to write it by myself!

I'm learning a few things about doing this slower remote book sprint and
trying to co-ordinate it.

1) having a tool that allows a few people to work on notes simultaneously
like google docs would be very helpful for IRC type meetings - using the
notes tab means you are likely to overwrite each other.
2) Having some kind of welcome message or splash page for new people would
be handy logging in when there is no one there - at the moment there is a
temp chapter called - Read this if you are here for the book jog
3) Watching the logs of who has done what and following it up with messages
is a good idea - knowing more about messages would be good - this page could
maybe do with updating to reflect that.

4) Creating a structure with chapters, and some notes in there to encourage
people to write it is good

nice one
