[FM Discuss] update on new fm and translations

hi

things are crazy busy...but...i think the new en fm will be online 
monday which means everyone can start publishing their manuals to get 
uptodate.  the finnish site will also be updated soon .the finnish site 
will now run booki

for those that are interested we implemented a publishing script that 
pulls content from booki. its in the booki-dev git repo at 
http://booki-dev.flossmanuals.net ... both the finnish sites ans the 
english site use this (at least they will from monday)...

the 'bookipublisher' it enables:
* pulling content from booki.flossmanuals.net with skins, and 
screenreadable pdf and epubs linked auto
* multiple users with access control on plugins
* basic meta data editing
* remix
* blog with rss

so this means that each maintainer will get a password and *you* can 
update the books without having to wait in me :) it also means that we 
can spread the net wide for blogging contributions

also, the code is php so it is easy to extend and it has a plugin and 
widget structure. the first widget implemented is a comment widget which 
will appear on the bottom of all manual pages

also, there is an automated script for mass updates if we wish to update 
multiple manuals at once (Thanks tuukka for this)...

when i get time i will also make a simple script for a one page 'shop' 
so if u have a single book that you wish to promote (for example the 
books james is making) you can use that script to promote it from your 
own server...it will have the format of this:

also a basic site will be online next week for getting some translations 
underway...it will ramp up in complexity over the next weeks...
