supposedly, it helps to apply ghostscript on the "ugly" PDF like this:

$ gs -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dCompatibilityLevel=1.7 -dPDFSETTINGS=/screen
-dNOPAUSE -dQUIET -dBATCH -sOutputFile=Energiforsyning.fixed3.pdf
Energiforsyning.pdf 

i did this and the result is at
http://www.ljudmila.org/~luka/an-open-web-rootless-error-fixed.pdf

note i did not get any message from gs like the issue describes.
the pdf looks ok to me and is actually smaller than the original.

can someone retest with this one?
