Ana,

It sounds like you've done a lot of work!

You can handle credit for the translation however you desire.  In
TWiki there was an automatically generated chapter that listed
everyone who worked on individual chapters.  It looks like Booki
doesn't do that.  As far as I'm concerned, you've done the work, you
can take credit however you desire to.

By all means put translator bios in the About The Authors chapter.
Mine should be up to date as is.

The issue with "he" and "she" is a cultural thing.  When I was growing
up the English teach said to always use "he", and the "or she" would
be understood.  Lately what they seem to recommend is that every once
in awhile you use "she" and the "or he" would be understood.  Girls
who wish to program computers have plenty of adult role models these
days, so I don't see this is something that needs to be translated
exactly as I have it.

On this:

Activities that don't create Journal entries can only be resumed from the
Journal, so there is no point in putting an icon in the Activity ring for
them.  Read Etexts is an Activity like that."

The idea I'm trying to get across is that not every Activity will have
an icon in the Activity ring.  If the only thing that an Activity can
do is resume from an existing Journal entry, then it doesn't make
sense to put an icon in the Activity ring because the Activity will
have no data to read if it is launched that way.  Read Etexts reads
e-books, but cannot make them.

I'm tickled to death that people are arguing about my work.

My book is in the Kindle Store and I hope you'll consider putting the
Spanish version there too.

It is fairly simple to convert an EPUB from Booki into a MOBI that you
can sell on the Kindle Store.  I've sold nine so far, so don't worry
how you'll split up the profits.  There may not be any!  I have
submitted a Blog post for the Booki blog that will eventually show how
its done.

You should put PDF and EPUB versions of the Spanish version on the
Internet Archive too.
