[FM Discuss] federated publishing

The idea that booki can be a library of cut and paste books is incredibly liberating,
visitors to a massive federated library will take cuttings from various sources to create new books for the library, printing as needed.

we have discussed using the ostatus (http://ostatus.org/) with booki in
support of the new messaging services in booki. books as such are
already 'federated' in booki...although to make this alittle sweeter we
are also discussing using epub as the default file format instead of our
own adhoc open format 'booki.zip'
