there is an italian translation of a couple of chapters of
digital-foundations.
p.ex.: http://graficalibera.org/rosafiori/gimp.html
even if nobody could confirm it, i suppose that the one which was on
flossmanuals.net was just an automatic translation...
it's not worth to retrieve it.

i don't think that ever has been any real italian manuals on
flossmanuals...
there was digital-foundations, yes, but it was not really italian :-)
finally, if there is some interest from your side, i wouldn't mind in
collaborating for the translation of the scribus manual:
