Dear Adam

In my last email to you I mentioned that we would soon be asking for
help with proofing our workbooks. Well, in the next week we will be
starting our major online proofread and edit of our workbooks and
textbooks, followed by their full translation into Afrikaans.

This process will happen on a chapter by chapter basis, so that they're
manageable chunks for volunteers to review, as we understand that
volunteers have limited time to assist us! We will do all this online -
we will give volunteers access to the Google Docs, or point them at an
annotation website, which has tools to make comments and suggestions on
the text. At the moment we are finalising our books one chapter at a
time and will be releasing them for review. We do have a deadline for
this, so each chapter will be up for one week, before we lock it down
and implement the suggested changes.

If you are interested in participating please let me know the following:

1) Would you like to help proofread the Natural Sciences workbooks? Do
you know of someone that could help with any of these others? (checking
for factual and content errors, misconceptions, rephrasing for better
understanding, checking for consistency, grammatical and spelling errors
etc):
Grade 11 Maths
Grade 11 Physics
Grade 11 Chemistry
Grade 10 Life Sciences
Grade 10 Maths Literacy
2) Are you (or someone) able to help with translation into Afrikaans of
our workbooks or any of these textbooks?

Once we have chapters ready I will email you an assignment, along with
all the information on how to go about this online. Please note that the
books are all at varying levels of completion so some still require a
few weeks before they will be ready for proofing (e.g.Maths Lit).

I look forward to hearing back from you!

Kind regards
Bridget
