Thank you Janet : I went to the link and unsubscribed to davidrex at cableone.net. Hopefully i will still receive E-mail at northlink.com (or was it the other way round: short term memory again:). I don't know which link from Adam you are referring to. There are so many postings.

Years ago I read Future Shock by the Tofflers. I think a whole chapter was devoted to "Overchoice" and that was in the late 1960s. In light of today's Internet, and devices to acccess same, it might be worth a re-reading.

p.s. Note my use of () after subject. That way i am not confronted with numerous "Re: "FM Discuss} slashdotted]" subjects with no way to tell which is which. The linking indictations in my E-mail are not affected.
