[FM Discuss] Skype alternative for FM people

Hi there,

A terrible thing has come to light.  Some people involved with FLOSS
Manuals use the popular service skype.

This is a very interesting test done up here in Manchester for Free
Software Day to find Free Software alternatives to skype.

Apparently it can work but normally it only works under certain
circumstances, ie when you are all using the same server & protocol -
(xmpp being the most common)

We are up for giving it a go.
Can someone nominate an Xmpp server that they know and trust? And maybe
there are people who would help us test it out?
