Ale - In terms of web publishing, I know that one of the things that is
planned (or was at least) was the ability to publish a 'splash' page for
books from Book Type.
Something like this one http://openweb.flossmanuals.net

I took that idea to create a similar thing for a recent booklet which is
here https://techtoolsforactivism.org/booklet

Or maybe you meant printed publishing. If so I guess you know about
lulu.com for one-off prints but you can normally find cheaper options in
your own country. I know in the UK "Inprint" is miles cheaper.

Also - sould you also be up for doing a 'news' item for the
flossmanuals.org website? It would be great to have the good news about
that Italian Scribus sprint there. Did you get any photos?

As you can probably tell from some of the email I've been writing, Adam
has asked me to step in and be more active in the FLOSS Manuals
community. It's not a paid position (although we are applying for
funding) , but at the moment I'm doing freelance work and hoping to be
able to spend more time on FLOSS Manuals soon.

As such I would be really interested to get ideas on what you guys think
the FM community most needs and I would like to put time into that. I'm
going to look into flossmanuals.org - but also this email list is a
great resource. So please do feel free to share your plans and ideas for
the future here.

nice one
Mick
